However, you can still play the full version of Baldurs Gate 3 on a Mac by using GeForce Now for Mac and linking your Steam account to GeForce Now. It’s possible that Larian Studios are waiting for the release of macOS Sonoma expected at the Apple Event on September 12th to ensure full compatibility with the latest version of macOS and Baldurs Gate 3. The Early Access version only allows you to play a limited version of the game and is limited to just 12 hours of gameplay.
